The Spring Runoff & Mayfly Festival - A race and celebration in support of local cold water fisheries!
The Spring Runoff half marathon and 5k will be fully supported and timed running events, beginning and ending at Kendrick Park in Sheridan, Wyoming on May 20, 2017. Same day registration starts at 8:00 a.m., the half marathon will begin at 9:00 a.m., and the 5k run/walk will begin at 10:00 a.m. The event will also include a family-friendly run/walk around the loops in Kendrick Park beginning immediately after the 5k at 10:00 a.m. for those with dogs and children in strollers
The Mayfly Festival will include music, food, local brew, bouncy house and games for kids! Little Big Horn Trout Unlimited will be teaching fly tying and casting, and several other local organizations will have booths, tables, or tents with various activities. Smokey Bear and his friends from the Forest Service are expected to make an appearance, and the Wyoming Game and Fish Department will be on hand with educational activities for the kids.
